Sharon – Registered Psychologist
Sharon is a Registered Psychologist who works with individuals and couples across various life stages. She takes a flexible and client-centred approach to therapy and believes in finding the root of her clients’ distress, rather than just treating symptoms.
Sharon has worked in a variety of settings, including non-profit organisations, private practice, and educational settings. She has successfully helped her clients through a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, addictions, anger management, school and work pressures, relationship and family problems.
By collaborating with her clients, Sharon helps to identify underlying issues in order to better manage them and prevent further issues from arising in the future. She draws on a number of evidence-based treatments to help her clients achieve their goals. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Narrative Therapy, and Attachment interventions.
Sharon holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology Honours) and a Postgraduate Diploma of Professional Psychology.
