Psychotherapy and Counselling treatments enable people to develop greater self awareness and to make positive changes in their lives. Professional Psychotherapists, Psychologists and Counsellors work within a clearly contracted relationship which helps patients to develop their capacity to resolve emotional, personal and relationship issues. Whilst both Counselling & Psychotherapy work at considerable depth, the difference between them is on the focus of change. Counselling is a shorter term treatment designed to manage a specific problem, situation or life change. Psychotherapy is concerned with the restructuring of the personality or self and may involve more frequent and longer term treatment. The disciplines of psychotherapy and counselling are undertaken by a variety of professionals who may be qualified as Psychologists, Counsellors, Psychiatrists, Social Workers, Allied Health or Mental Health Workers.

ACCESS Our Counselling & Psychologist associates are based at Surry Hills, Glebe, Sydney CBD, Cremorne and Bondi Junction, bordering Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, South Sydney, the Inner West and the North Shore. We also have professional psychologists offering individual and relationship counselling at East Gosford on the Central Coast.
EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE COUNSELLING & PROGRAMS / EAP
We are preferred suppliers to a number of global and local firms as well as government departments for the supply of Employee Assistance Programs (EAP). Employee Assistance Programs, also known as EAP, are arrangements between an employer and a service provider for the provision of counselling therapy for their staff.

WORKCOVER/INSURANCE CLAIMS
Associated Counsellors & Psychologists Sydney offers access to a number of Psychologists experienced in the provision of Workcover Psychology services.
